Hunting methods in the Bronze Age
In the Bronze Age, rice fields were cultivated using ground stone tools to grow various grains and harvested with half-moon stone knives and stone sickles. The grains excavated from the ruins of this period include rice, barley, sorghum, millet, and beans. It is presumed that people generally stored grains in jar-shaped earthenware, and cooked rice or soup in bowl-shaped earthenware. They also made food such as rice cakes by grinding them with a grindstone. In addition, they prepared food by hunting and fishing, and ate animal protein food through livestock such as pigs raised by making fences near their homes.
