Hunting and fishing

The Bronze Age, where agriculture flourished

In the Bronze Age, agriculture, including rice farming, was actively carried out. It is identified through the tools found in the house that hunting and fishing also continued as important livelihoods. Representative hunting tools include stone arrowheads and stone spears. In particular, arrowheads have various lengths and shapes, so they must have been used efficiently to capture different animals. Recently, stone arrowheads and wooden bows with shafts inserted have been discovered, and it is now possible to know exactly how to use hunting tools at the time. It is identified that traps made by digging pits and inserting sticks with pointed ends were set up around the village, a new hunting method that did not exist in the Neolithic Age. In addition, it has been confirmed that fish were caught with nets in the rivers around the village through stone and earth net weights found at the house.
